Professor Mattingly Promoted to Professor

Professor James Mattingly has been promoted to the rank of (full) Professor, active this academic year. His most recent monograph, Information and Experimental Knowledge, explores “what it is about experimental practice that transforms observations of what may be very localized, particular, isolated systems into what may be global, general, integrated empirical knowledge” (University of Chicago Press).
