Neil Lewis to Be Promoted to Professor

Neil Lewis will be promoted to the rank of (full) Professor as of August, 2020. Prof. Lewis is a scholar of 13th century English philosophy, esp. the thought of Robert Grosseteste and Richard Rufus of Cornwall. Among other achievements, Lewis is the editor and translator of Robert Grosseteste: The Two Recensions of “On Free Decision,” published by Oxford Univ. Press as part of the British Academy’s series, Auctores Britannici Medii Aevi, 2017. Lewis is also currently the coordinator of the undergraduate Honors Program in the Philosophy Major.
