Professor Nancy Sherman Receives 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship
The Philosophy Department is thrilled to announce that Professor Nancy Sherman is the recipient of a 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship in the field of Philosophy. Dr. Sherman is a Distinguished University Professor at Georgetown, appointed in the Philosophy Department and affiliated with the Kennedy Institute of Ethics. She has also taught at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she is a co-founder of the Philosophy and Law joint seminar. Her most recent book is titled “The Untold War: Inside the Hearts, Minds, and Souls of our Soldiers.”
