Michael Barnes Accepts Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Univ. of Oklahoma

Michael Barnes (PhD 2019) has accepted a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for the Study of Human Flourishing (new window) at the the University of Oklahoma, as part of the institute’s Self, Virtue, and Public Life (new window) initiative. Barnes defended his doctoral dissertation, “Subordinating Speech and the Construction of Social Hierarchies,” during fall 2019 under the supervision of Profs. Quill Kukla (mentor), Alisa Carse, Madison Powers, and Lynne Tirrell (Univ. of Connecticut).
