Prof. Henry Richardson’s Articulating the Moral Community: Toward a Constructive Ethical Pragmatism, has appeared with Oxford University Press. Richardson explains how the decentralized and inclusive moral community, which consists of all persons, can exercise authority. The resulting moral innovation which takes place through the constructive engagement of individuals with one another in conscientious moral disagreement and discussion, paves the way for a constructive ethical pragmatism.
